Substantial cuts are expected to the funding Imperial receives from the government for its higher education activities.
In order to maintain the excellence of the education the College provides to students, Imperial has confirmed its intention to set fees at £9,000 for Home and EU undergraduate students for 2012 entry.
Financial aid will be available to students who have the ability to succeed on Imperial’s courses, but whose financial circumstances may act as a barrier. Our message is that for those who can manage Imperial’s courses, the College will work to ensure they can manage its costs.
Further details of the financial aid that will be available to students entering the College in 2012 will be released following the Office for Fair Access’s decision about Imperial’s proposals in the summer.
Current undergraduate students, who are still studying at Imperial in 2012, will not be affected by the changes to fee levels.

We publish the standard entry requirements for our undergraduate courses via the UCAS Course Search facility. Our Faculty and Departmental pages in the Undergraduate Prospectus also contain guidance on the selection criteria, the subjects you need to have studied and additional entrance tests, if applicable.
Guidance on our College minimum entry qualifications, inclduing requirements for a number of non-standard qualifications can be found at http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/entryrequirements/undergraduate
Please note that the requirements listed for each qualification are the College minimum entry requirements and each Department is able to ask for a higher grade than listed.
If your qualifications are not covered, we may be able to give you general guidance. However, we do not confirm eligibility of non-standard qualifications prior to receiving a UCAS application as academic performance is considered as part of the overall assessment of an application.

Imperial College does not have a buzzword and applicants should apply as individuals rather than linked to an institution. You should leave the buzzword blank
