Buzzing College
17 September 2010

This month I was catapulted from the Cretian beach back into the bustling world of Reporter. Since I’ve returned I’ve learnt about Imperial’s exciting new collaboration with NTU and the Singapore medical school set to be established in 2013; helped out with a photo shoot for the Imperial College Health Centre, meeting the lovely staff who gave up their lunchtimes to pose; and have watched a male model being sprayed by academic visitor Dr Manel Torres, the inventor of fabric in a can.
I’ve also enjoyed catching up on all the stories Imperial staff and students have been sending me over the summer. From news of multiple awards that have been accepted at ceremonies across the world to accounts of charity activities, exhibitions and outreach work people have been involved in. It proved to me that even over the summer the College never sleeps.
