A new publication to mark a new era in university funding
31 January 2011
A new Imperial Annual Fundraising Report has now been published to recognise and celebrate the philanthropic support shown to the College by our donors.
The new year marks the inception of a new publication produced by the Communications and Development Division. The Annual Fundraising Report is our flagship donor publication which recognises and celebrates the philanthropic support shown to the College by our donors.
Between 1 August 2009 and 31 July 2010, the College received £8.3 million in philanthropic income, including £3.6 million from alumni. The Annual Fundraising Report promotes the culture of giving and will raise the profile of higher education philanthropy among our alumni community. This is also the first time we have formally recognised the work of our outstanding volunteers, over 300 individuals, who gave their time and energy to bolster our fundraising and alumni activities.
Alongside the new publication we have developed an online directory of donors. The directory allows you to search for the individuals and organisations who have supported the College during the 2009-10 financial period.
I hope that you find the Annual Fundraising Report not only relevant and interesting, but also an inspiration. The College is achieving an outstanding amount in its fundraising endeavours and I am thrilled to be sharing with you its success stories.
