Tweeting day

Students, academics, support staff and alumni took part in the College’s ‘Twitter day’ on 17 June. The day was organised as part of UUK’s Universities Week 2011.
Its aim was to tell the story of a day in the life of a university using Twitter, demonstrating the breadth of activities and giving an insight into College operations from behind the scenes. Tweeting began early in the morning and continued into the evening. In total, participants contributed over 600 tweets relating to College activities, making Imperial the most active university taking part.
