Professional fellowships

Professor Justin Stebbing (Surgery and Cancer) and Dr David Sharp (Medicine) are among eight scientists in the UK to have been awarded National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) professorial fellowships.
The awards, which aim to support translational research, will give five years of funding for Professor Stebbing’s work on personalised cancer treatments and Dr Sharp’s work on traumatic brain injury.
