Powell named ‘pioneer’

Professor Janet Powell, professor of Vascular Biology and Medicine (Surgery and Cancer) has been named 2012 European Pioneer in Performance for her dedication to creating consensus within the medical community.
The award was presented during the 34th Charing Cross International Symposium held at the College in April. Professor Powell was chosen for demonstrating a strong and ongoing commitment to improving both clinical and patient outcomes through active collaboration.
