Hi,

Which link are you referring to? We have tested the links from Reporter homepage and within the story itself and to the main news site but get no error message.

Thanks for letting us know that you are having problems. If you could send a bit more detail then we can hopefully resolve your issue.

Kudos to the catering team at Imperial. It's fantastic to see them setting a good example and leading the way on sustainability.

Best wishes, Alex

I have learnt of Sharine's death this morning, 8th January 2013. I had tried to contact her unsuccessfully over the years; as a young man in my early 20's it was only at a much later stage that I realised how influential she had been in my own development.

I had known Sharine in the early 1980's working in the NHS, she was the Domestic Services Manager at Lewisham hospital. She had a little flat, comprised of two rooms just adjacent to our group in the nursing home, she was great fun to be with, and mature enough to both tolerate, and sensitively curb our frequent outrageous acts! I have fond memories of sharing tea in bone china with her, lovely! I am saddened that I had not been successful in my attempts to contact her, but delighted to hear of her work at Imperial College, it comes as no surprise to learn that she excelled in her role managing accommodation and continued to influence young people with her strong, but incredibly gentle manner. I realise now that she had unwittingly modelled and kindled my interest in my later chosen profession.

Well done imperial of arranging such an open day for school children. It enables them to raise there aspirations and believe they too can make it, irrespective of their backgrounds. Such an event should be held every 6 months which will give valuable exposure to the participants.

Hi Daniel,

I'm afraid the Ford scholarships have all been allocated and were a one-off. You can find more information on the other types of scholarships available at this link: http://www3.imperial.ac.uk/studentfinance/ugscholarships

Good luck in your studies,

Simon

Thank you for correcting the skewed picture people have of race walking. This piercing and insightful piece provides a glimpse of the passions that drive Olympians, be they on the track or in the stands.

Spice Girls the best part! I hope your tongue is firmly planted in cheek. The best part by far was the magical moment when 80,000 people were playing the vocal games with the recording of Freddie. I so wish I could have been there just for that moment.
