Details of two exciting charity events in London over the next few months:

Guy’s Hospital Abseil, London

Not for the faint hearted, this 450ft abseil is the highest building you can abseil in London; it’s even higher than the London Eye and has arguably the best views of town. Whether a Londoner or an out of towner the views on the decent are worth their weight in sponsorship gold and not to be missed. With cheerers below spurring you on, this won’t be an experience easily forgotten. With full training and fundraising support, you’ll be ready to take on this challenge with full force, perfect for our photographer to catch you in action as you go over the edge!

Date of event: 16 & 17 April, 2011

Time of event: 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Registration fee or ticket prices: £25

Minimum Sponsorship: £250

Crystal Palace Football Club Zip Wire, London

Calling all die hard Crystal Palace fans, get your kit on and get yourself signed up to the white knuckle ride of a life time. Marie Curie has joined forces with Crystal Palace so you can raise the pounds by flying over the ground covering an entire pitch. This exhilarating experience will have your heart in your throat and the donations flying in. This is no mean feat and you’ll certainly have earned that sponsorship money.
