You’ll be very happy to know that this post has absolutely nothing to do with the general election. Recently I was asked by someone who got an offer from Imperial why they should come here and that sparked a lot of thought about myself and whether I truly am happy to be at this university. Also, why am I happy to be here? What makes Imperial college the place for me, now that I have 2 years of first hand experience?

Totally agree that its the people over anything else 
Hahaha I love this blog on soooo many levels. “Barking up the wrong tree” is going to be stuck in my head all day and my aim is to use it as much as possible (especially during my presentation this afternoon hahaha).
I think you should go to Imperial because of the quality of the revision beards, which has not been matched anywhere else I’ve been/seen photos of. No other university seems to have this tradition.
