@Dan Maxwell wrote poetry, though, so it can't be all bad news ;)

@Elliott It should be good! I have - great news that the case got discontinued, even though it was in spite of the laws.

@burntcrumpet Fantastic! (That is a very good thing indeed.)

@Lana Thanks so much - glad you enjoy it! Also great to hear you want to do physics (since it is clearly the most awesome subject ;)). From my experience (and other people's from what I've heard and seen), you should have ample time for a social life if you organise your time properly. Being in London, you'll never run out of things to do either!

Hi Courtney,

I love reading your blog to get a feel of what icl life is like!

I have a few questions, I love physics and am hoping to pursue it once I graduate from highschool next year though I am worried I won't have much of a social life. All my friends keep telling me 'Physics at imperial! Holy, we won't ever see you again!' It got me quite anxious!

xoxo Hope you feel better soon.

I think the physics dept. thing is a great idea because it could be more relevant and funny than broadsheet, so I'm right behind you.

My pseudonym is not some bizarre sexual tag.

"The aim of science is to make difficult things understandable in a simpler way; the aim of poetry is to state simple things in an incomprehensible way. The two are incompatible." - Paul Dirac said this to Oppenheimer about his interest in poetry as a physicist :P
