First, I want to introduce myself to you. My name is Jun, a girl from China. I am really enthusiastic about biomedicine, which I hope to devote myself to in  my life. It is my honor to study this subject in Imperial College, for which renders me a valuable opportunity to get access to leading biomedical laboratory in the world. It is really exciting for me.

After coming here, I have gradually confirmed that I am so lucky to have chosen the right major for myself. Now I am majored in Biomedical Research in Department of Surgery and Cancer, which I like very much. This major is not like other Msc course, which teaches students a lot of knowledge in books. Instead, this research course is mainly about experiments, offering us good chances of following a team and undertaking a project. On the other hand, it is unlike phd course as well, which may be more narrow and deeper for us. Luckily, in one year of the research course, we can and have to work in two different labs and join in two different projects. So in this situation, we can broaden our horizon, and be more exactly know what we like and what we are really suited to do.
