I have been working in my lab for about 2 weeks, longer than some other classmates, which excited me a lot, for every student is eager to come in the lab as soon as possible, and take on their project earlier.
Admittedly, the life in laboratory is more tough than what I have thought. Every day, I have to work from 10 am to about 5 pm, and nearly work all the time. Sometimes, I can only spare limited time on lunch. You can imagine how busy I am each day. However, I feel totally happy and excited, because I can feel I am alive, something like I can feel the meaning of my life. It is really fantastic. You know when people are doing some boring things or just living a vain and humdrum life, we can not know who we are, and what life’s meaning is. However, when we just do whatever we are truly interested in, and try our best to contribute, we can find who we are and what our life’s meaning is. Now I am just following my heart, and following my dream.
During my high school, I just know studying hard can help me earn praise from parents, and admiration from peers, but I do not know why we study, what the real purpose is. When I came into my university in China to persue my undergraduate degree, I gradually learn to think about future and society. Then I come here, I begin to feel what academics really is. Doing an experiment or going though a project is just like running, and pursuing something like truth. I like listen to my heart, and feel so hot about that.
I have to say that, I like you, science. The more I am tired, The more happyness I can get.
