Today in the morning, after I checked the experiment results of yesterday, I found a fatal error, which directly led to the total failure of the experiment. I knew I have to do this again. Actually, the error is not very big, instead it is just a detail. But this fatal detail has beated my whole day’s effort, which makes me a little upset. As the proverb says, “Detail is the key of success”, now I more understand this. Just a few days ago, I have read some information about one professor in our college. Even though he is very famous and admirable, he still work carefully, and keep eyes on each detail. For example, we use pipettor nearly one hundred times each day, but we haven’t been so careful with this. He said each time he absorb and release liquid slowly to reduce every potential possibility of error. Now I really understand what we should do to treat detail and gain success.
