What is your name?

Lakshana Huddar – some people call me Shana

How long have you been wandering the Earth?

19 years and 4 months

What do you study?

Mechanical Engineering. I’m in 3rd Year.

Do you like it?

Yeah, its fun despite the difficulty! In what other course can you build a car, race pumps against each other and smash metals up?

Do you like Imperial?

I have never felt more at home than I have at Imperial.

Do you like London?

London is mind-boggling and flabbergasting; of course I do!

Do you like greens eggs and ham?

I’m a vegetarian, so I have never tasted either. Which supermarket sells green eggs? I’d like to try them out…

Plane or Train?

Tough one, but it’s aeroplane for sure.

Where do you live when not at Imperial?

Brussels in Belgium. It’s very very close if you take the eurostar from King’s Cross – you’re there in two hours!

What is your favourite country?

India, seeing as I am Indian. Never lived there before but hope to do so in the future.

Do you think the reader is getting bored?

Since I’m talking about the great me, no.

Family?

1 father, 1 mother, 1 one little medic sister, 7 uncles, 7 aunts, 3 grandparents, 27 great-uncles and great-aunts and 1547384 cousins – I love every one of you!

Friends?

A picture supposedly says a thousand words.

Will man ever go to Mars?

I believe so – maybe even in our lifetimes (counts even if you are on your deathbed). I am optimistic that the technology will progress enough for this.

Favourite film?

Don’t watch much… but I say ‘Enchanted’.

Favourite book?

Many a time Sherlock Holmes has me at the edge of my seat with my heart racing (I mean the book, not the man).

Favourite TV show?

The Big Bang Theory! It goes way beyond the average above-average sitcom.

Favourite anime/manga?

How can I possibly answer? I like so many… I’ll say Fullmetal Alchemist.

Favourite Mech Eng module?

I lean towards the thermofluids side of things.

Best Lecturer?

That’s a *secret*.

Where did you get your tagline from?

My friend Joe suggested it. Apparently he found those words of wisdom graffitied somewhere in Brunel University…

I feel like a nutcase.
