Finally, I had got through all the four exams the day before yesterday.
It was really a ‘horrible’ experience to go through all these.
Due to the Christmas holiday, I did not have too much moods to prepare for the exams until Jan. 4th. It was the very deadline for the preparation of the exams. I gave up the winter Wonderland for the exams. Hope I could have the chance to go next year~
I felt not good for not having a relaxing holiday since I kept thinking about the upcoming exams~
During the week before the exams, I was absolutely isolated from the outside world and stayed in my dorm almost for the whole week studying.
Days passed away so fast when I realized it was the day for my first exam: IPM.
Though the contents of the paper were basic, all the questions were essay questions. I kept writing from the beginning of the exam to the end.
It is quite different from the exams we have back in China.
The paper has many contents in China, such as multiple choices and essay questions. Even though you are not familiar with the tests, you can always make a guess of the multiple choices. However, the exams we took here are tests of your competence and there is no way to make any guess. What you have to do is to honestly answer all the questions with what you have learnt. Therefore, when I answered the paper, I almost wrote down everything I know related to that question~
After I finished it, I felt relaxed a little bit, even though I still had three more to go.
The sequence of the seats arrangement is alphabetically of our first character in family names. Thus, I could find many familiar faces around me the other day.
I am a kind of person who does not like to stay up very late at night, but during these days, I almost had stayed up so late every night to prepare and got up early to continue.
Still I felt there were a lot of contents I did not cover. It was tiring to do all the stuff, but there was no choice.
After all the exams, I made some reflections of them.
I tried to figure out what aspects I could improve during my next exams.
After that, I went shopping with my friend Xue~ I felt like I eventually went out to have some contacts with people instead of being trapped in my dorm.
I nearly slept for the whole day yesterday, for I was so exhausted during the past two weeks. However, I still have to cheer up for the upcoming week of the new term.
Hopefully, I will be well prepared for the new term.
Hope everyone a smooth and exciting new term~
Next I’d like to attach some beautiful pictures of the Forbidden City in China.
