Seeing as October seemed to go down a treat for me I thought I would try and get some
visual evidence for how well the months are treating us Londoners. The Christmas street lights are in the process of being switched on street by street and I went out to grab some pictures of Oxford St. looking lovely. On my way home I was also pleasantly surprised by how the Natural History Museum was the very picture of Christmas. I couldn’t resist creepily taking pictures of people attempting to skate, one of these days I’ll get out there and it will be me falling over.
It has taken so long to upload everything, I have to admit, because I couldn’t figure out how to get the large pictures down to the right file size for days. I have now figured it out and I plan on taking more pictures when they do the final area Trafalgar square on December 1st when we get to start having chocolate for breakfast! (if you are kiddy like me and get advent calendars!)

November 2011 Monthly Archives:
This is what I got up to Halloween this year. The pumpkin Bob is shown 3 ways, originally with marker since we couldn’t be bothered to empty him out on Friday but by Monday he was looking beautiful and carved, controversially with windows one side and apple mac the other. Bob was then re-christened the iPumpkin, although we did have some difficulty browsing the web with him.
The confusing frying pan is the result of some improvisation when we were part way through making popcorn and getting attacked by hot oily kernels when we realize the pan didn’t have lid. The resulting toffee popcorn can be seen later. I would definitely recommend it as a quick, easy and delicious (though perhaps not healthy) snack.
You may also be able to see what my desk decorated for Halloween with another pumpkin Fred, much smaller and cuter than Bob. Fred is watching me type this now, I didn’t have the heart to get rid of him yet, I’m thinking pumpkin pi!!!
