Content Services, used for storing and publishing documents within the CMS, is being decommissioned and replaced by a new Sharepoint site collection. This should improve speed and reliability of accessing documents through the website, and also make it easier and quicker for you to upload new files.
This is currently scheduled for implementation in mid May 2010 at which time the content that is currently on Content Services will be migrated over to SharePoint and URL links will be updated.
You should be aware that only the current versions of files will be migrated to the SharePoint site collection in May, so if you’d like to keep any previous version we recommend that you save them elsewhere, e.g. your network drive. (more…)
