You can search Imperial’s website in two ways. On every page on the College website, there is a search box in the top right.
Alternatively, you can use the search box on Imperial’s search page.
To search the College website, enter a search term into the box and press “Go”. This will take you to a list of results, sorted by relevancy, with your search terms highlighted. It could just be me – but i feel like anytime i attempt to search for something within the Imeprial webpages, the search results that come up are no use whatsoever! I feel like this Google search facility we now have has made things ten times worse.
For example if i wnat to get to the homepage for Finance information, the search pages will spew out every single webpage apart from the one that i actually need. Or another example is if i type in CBS to try to get a contact name or something, nothign useful comes out at all
