Well, its been a while that I came around said “Hello”. Absolutely rude on my part and I apologise profusely. The weeks have been busy. I mean really busy. One would probably grasp the concept well, if I confessed that the old self here had his term exams from 12th to the 16th. That’s right folks, 5 days on the trot… That’s not fair, I said. But I suppose, the trick is to manage the show well to crack things at least till the point your examinations are over.
Enough said about the papers!! Lets get back to Christmas and New Year. Now if you are expecting an account of some partying about in London this is the wrong space. Really!! I spent that entire week with my great uncle at Jersey Island. The island is part of the Channel Islands and is situated a few miles off the French coast. For those familiar with the island, I was putting up at St. Brelade. The island, as I found out, was very quiet and possibly could be a great place to retire (if you got the money
). So there I was driving about the little island, and soaking in the wonderful views, the sunsets off St. Ouen’s Bay, or roaming about St. Helier. It was a week well spent.
Before long it was time to turn around to London. Back to base and books. What greeted me when I turned up was snowy londontown. This would be a couple of nights later, but that counts. Though, I got to see the snowfaal early in the morning around 5, it was a quarter or two past the hour that I decided to slumber off adn thus missed out on the snow in daylight. By the time I rose, it was noon and the snow was nowhere to be seen. What a waste!!
Anyhoo, life moves on and so did the self. Before long it was exam time and a frantic week full of revisions and coffee. And soon that was at an end and the post exam party began. Its been a week into the new term now and am loving it
As I write this its the Chinese New Year… so cheer up folks and celebrate as the Year of the Ox sets in. ![]()
