Here we present the numerical results obtained for the
MEBDFI code applied to some DAEs. The only two problems that are
listed in the Amsterdam test set as IDEs are the Nand gate and the Wheelset
problem.
However, for completeness we give the results for some other test
problems, of linearly implicit form where M is constant, using MEBDFI.F.
The results for these problems are especially competitive.
Note that the Nand gate and the Wheelset problems can either
be considered as having a variable M or as being implicit differential
equations.
In each case NAME.F will denote the drivers and
NAME.RES will denote the numerical results obtained.
The runs were done on an IBM RS6000. We used the Fortran 77 compiler with
optimization: f77 -O3 MEBDFI.F NAME.F.
